E.J. Smith is a Nationally Certified Counselor, Certified Sexual Assault Advocate, speaker and writer. Blending her personal brand of Jersey moxie and heartfelt sincerity, E.J. believes wholeheartedly that each of us get to assign meaning to our life circumstances and choosing how these events are placed in the legacy of our lives. Her philosophy is centered in empowering clients to find their individual Purpose, and to create fulfilling, authentic lives and relationships from the inside out. Born in New Jersey, and currently living in Texas, the self-professed holistic health nut enjoys a wide variety of athletics, reading, and cooking. She currently works as a counselor and certified advocate at the Sexual Assault Resource Center in Bryan/College Station, TX as well as in private practice at Associates in Counseling under the supervision of Alison Pourteau, LPC-S.
