Dr. Acharya Trigunateet Jaimini
Dr. Acharya Trigunateet Jaimini is a well known “Sitar Maestro” and Ph.D of extraordinary education and experience, with a lifetime of dedication to traditional Indian music. He is recognized internationally as a performer with exceptional skill and has been selected three times as the world’s record holder, in “World Amazing Book of Records”. In the India & Limke Book of Records he received a special honor as “The Youngest Sitar Performer with the Toughest Mathematical Rhythms”. He is the Ph.D resident guide to music students and research scholars at the “University Grant Commission” where he lectures and demonstrates at music research seminars. In conjunction with Italian guitarist D. Turi he developed contemporary fusion music for background scores in fashion shows in Berlin, Germany. He developed a special technique in music therapy for the treatment of mental disorders using particular sitar musical arrangements, and is well known in psychiatric circles for his work in this area.
