Drill SGT Ron Kohl, Retired
He has 30 years of Law Enforcement experience. Attended three Police Academies. Positions held include SWAT Team, Tactical Operations, Director of Crime Prevention, Detective, Armed Assault Team Leader and Academy Instructor.
He entered the Air Force and was attached to Strategic Air Command Security Force. He then joined the Army and after 25 years of Military active duty and reserve time retired as a Drill Sergeant.
He has been in the security industry for 25 plus years as Director, Consultant, and Instructor establishing Policies and Procedures for a number of communities.
He is a volunteer with the Ashland Police Department as Crime Prevention Specialist. also certified Crime Prevention Specialist through Florida's Attorney General's Office. Certifications include Florida Crime Prevention Practitioner, Convenient Store Inspector, Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Fraud Scams and Cons and nationally certified crime prevention specialist.
