Monica Esser
Monica Esser is the Director of Enrollment Group International Initiatives at Fordham University, the Jesuit University of New York. She has directed international undergraduate outreach, recruitment and admission at Fordham for eight years. A graduate of Haverford College (BA) and Lesley University (MA), Monica has advised and taught international students in various university settings for over fifteen years. Last summer she was awarded a Fulbright International Educators Grant to the UK. She has held the position of Recruiting, Advising and Preparation (RAP) Representative to the NAFSA: Association for International Educators Region X Team (NY and NJ). She is currently the head of the Program Committee and Chair-Elect for Study New York, a consortium of educational institutions whose goal is to promote NY State as a study destination for international students from around the world.
