D. Bruce Day
As President of Global Maxfin Investments Inc. and Global Insurance Solutions Inc., Bruce is responsible for setting the business direction, objectives and strategies of the firms, in addition to the overall profitability of the businesses. Bruce began his career in Calgary, Alberta as an Advisor in the Financial Services business. Soon after, he became a Partner in firms specializing in the business insurance and oil and gas insurance. Six years later Bruce sold the company and moved to Toronto to join a major Canadian insurance company in their Head Office. Bruce joined the Global group of companies as Vice President of their Insurance Division. After successfully growing the Insurance Division, Bruce moved within the company to oversee Global’s Mutual Fund Division. Bruce is now President of both companies. The Global group of companies and associated companies is a financial services company that has become one of the largest independent full service financial firms in Canada."
