Jay Devereaux
Jay is a retired Information Technology Consultant and has started several successful small businesses over the years. He has spent most of the last 6 years fighting bloated government in DC. During the last federal government shutdown he was watching the evening news and saw “Honor Flight” veterans being locked out of the memorials in DC. The next morning, and every morning until the end of the shutdown, he drove 5 hrs each way from the Poconos to DC and began cutting open the barricades at the memorials and escorting in veterans. He was an honored speaker at the rally at the memorials just before the end of the shutdown. For the last 2 years he has been planning the Liberty Farms project to help disabled veterans become independent farmers and business owners so they are free of dependence on government programs and can support their families and leave a legacy for their children.
