Nels Van Patten
Son of Dick Van Patton and Pat Van Patton. Nels Van Patton was born in 1955. Nels grew up around Hollywood, California mixing with the rich and famous. He is an actor and producer, known for Summer School (1987), Grotesque (1988) and Backyard Dogs (2000). He has been married to his wife Nancy since October 9, 1994. Nels is also a tennis professional and an Elite Professional, a USPTA (US Professional Tennis Player Association) member. They must be at least 22 years old, pass the written Elite exam, which covers business, programming, sport science and tennis operations, Elite stroke analysis exam and the Elite-level on-court exams. In addition, members must earn 16 specialty course and 24 APC credits. Elite Professionals are required to earn 6 credits every three years to maintain their membership. They commonly are considered for director of tennis or head tennis professional positions.
