Edo Popken
Descending from three previous generations of women’s clothiers, Edo Popken founded his own luxury men’s clothing collection called Edo Popken Cosmopolitan Successwear in 2004. Based in Zurich with another location in Dallas, Texas, Edo takes pride in appealing to the cosmopolitan world traveler who appreciates quality and unique self-expression through the clothes he wears. Edo studied, taught, and now coaches and consults at LDT Nagold to give back and encourage young entrepreneurs. German-born, Edo also feels called to the French language and countryside. He passes many weekends at his Chateau de Venteuil just outside of Paris, where he lavishes time, energy, and resources to lovingly maintain this property and its adjoining gardens. The chateau represents an important connection to his much revered and departed mother Ursula Popken, is a quiet weekend respite where he finds peace and quiet to recharge his batteries, and houses a cellar of his very own Edo Popken champagne.
