India Sherret
India Sherret is a young ski cross racer from Cranbrook, BC. Growing up in the Kootenays she grew to love the mountains and all the possibilities that they have to offer. She started skiing at the age of 8, and racing at 10. Her first taste of ski cross came when she was 13, and fell in love instantly. From there she began racing ski cross full time and competed in FIS Nor-am races with the Alberta Ski Cross Team when she turned 15. At 18 she qualified for the Canadian development team and hopes to make the Canadian National team within the next 2 years. India has represented Canada at many international events including the 2012 Youth Olympic Winter Games and World Junior Championships, and has earned the titles of 2015 Canadian National Champion and World Junior Champion. In her free time and cross training she enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, and camping.
