Gustavo Carlo PhD
Dr. Gustavo Carlo is the Director of the Center for Family Policy and Research. Dr. Carlo is also Millsap Professor of Diversity and Multicultural Studies in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies. His research interests are focused on children and adolescents' moral development, with a particular emphasis on parenting, personality, and culture. Before arriving at the University of Missouri, Dr. Carlo co-founded the Latino Research Initiative and the Latino Youth Mentoring Achievement Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
