Dr. Jason Laker
Dr. Jason Laker is a Professor in the Department of Counselor Education and the Doctor of Education Program in Educational Leadership. His publications include Masculinities in Higher Education and Canadian Perspectives on Men and Masculinities. Both he and Dr. Boas are also Affiliated Research Faculty with the Center for Research and Education on Gender and Sexuality at San Francisco State University and Co-Principal Investigators on a research program, “Sexual Coercion and Violence in College: Reforming Policies and Practices for Consent Education and Personal Agency,” which has been referenced in the New York Times and Harpers. He has published chapters and articles and given keynote talks in U.S. as well as Yokohama, Japan, Rjeka, Croatia, and Islamabad, Pakistan.
