Janiece Jaffe
Janiece Jaffe is an international vocal jazz artist, recording artist, vocal improviser, vocal coach, reiki practitioner, sound healer and workshop facilitator. Janiece’s talents are as diverse as she is masterful within each area that she expresses. At age 16, she became a member of Soka Gakkai International committing herself to a Buddhist daily practice of chanting. Using her voice in spiritual practice has benefited her spiritually and deepened her vocal awareness and abilities. After becoming a Reiki Master in 1999, she began research, practice and exploration in Sound Healing. Janiece began working with crystal bowls in 2000 and then sought to embody the sounds in her voice. As a sound healer she utilizes crystal bowls, tibetan bowls, and her voice in a heavenly and transformative expression. Janiece is a member of NESHRI, The World Sound Healing Organization and The Sound Healers Association. Janiece lives in Bloomington, Indiana.
