Vicky Ray
Vicky's son was Severely injured, shot in the frontal lobe in Fallujah November 13th 2004, She became an advocate under the Department of Defense with the Severely Injured Program . She was appointed to grow this program in Texas but it soon grew to support across the country. Vicky not only had to learn how to work with Military Commanders and VA Headquarters but started taking cases across the country working with families needing someone who would task their success. She built connections from DOD level to Commanders of Bases, including Wounded Transition Units and Transition Battalion commanders. She worked with the Sec of the Army's office to get support for America's Military families who have served our country during War Time. She has also provided to the families, names and numbers to groups, programs and leaders for support.
