AJ Benza
AJ Benza was one of the most celebrated (and feared) gossip columnists at the
New York Daily News in the 1990's. That's pre-TMZ people! Before Harvey, there was AJ!
In 1997, Benza got the call that changed his life and ripped him away from
the Greenwich Village streets. It was a call from the
E! Network in Los Angeles, offering him a weekly TV series that would give
light to the underbelly of Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The show was
"Mysteries & Scandals" and it quickly became a top-rated hit that
aired 172 episodes.
He's written two memoirs,
"Fame, Ain't it a Bitch" and 2015's Amazon Best-Seller "74 and Sunny,"
appeared in numerous films including "Ransom," "Conspiracy Theory" and a
starring role in "Rocky Balboa."
Currently AJ executive produced "So B. It," based on the best-selling book.
He's back on the tube doing what he does best - hosting "Case
Closed with AJ Benza" Saturday nights at 10 pm on ReelzChannel.
