Dr. Barry Rose
My name is Dr. Barry Rose. I am a board certified orthopedic surgeon and have been in practice for over 30 years. I am part of the Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group which is a large multi specialty group of over 1500 physicians which extends south and east of San Francisco. I have written a book to soon be published entitled The Cutting Edge of Compassion. It is a story based book about my life and about bringing compassion back to healthcare and healing. I embrace combining eastern and western medicine, patient advocacy, and what changes are needed to better healthcare. I have recently been on the other side of things completing cancer treatment myself for the cure and now more than ever am beating the drum for patient advocacy.
