Rajiv Uttamchandani
Rajiv Uttamchandani is an astrophysicist, professor, social entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and human rights activist. He is the Founder & Chairman of the International STEM Society for Human Rights a global nonprofit organization dedicated to applying STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) and Education to safeguard the lives of individuals most vulnerable to become victims of human rights abuses. Under the International STEM Society for Human Rights he further serves as the Executive Director of the H.E.R. (Humanity Education & Rights) Conferences, an international series of events that gather an entire community to become directly involved with the human rights cause and brings to light novel solutions which may be implemented to help safeguard universal human rights. Furthermore, Mr. Uttamchandani serves as the Executive Director of the International H.E.R. Clubs, a global organization of clubs within schools whereby students and teachers alike are exposed to the urgency of human rights issues and work together to implement solutions which aim to address them. Mr. Uttamchandani is the Founder & Chairman of Rajiv Uttamchandani Holdings Inc., a conglomerate organization with multiple businesses. He owns and operates H.E.R. Apparel, a landmark fashion line which develops clothing for women and men to promote gender equality. The clothing line uses Hemp as its primary source of fiber and is therefore environmentally friendly and is made through a responsible factory in Shanghai which places first the health and wellbeing of its employees. Mr. Uttamchandani is also the Director of STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) Education Initiatives at the New York Film Academy – Los Angeles. He has fostered significant collaborations with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Northrop Grumman Corporation, in which he aims to use the development of key scientific projects as an educational tool
