Dr. Armgard von Reden
Dr. Armgard von Reden is a strategy consultant based in Berlin. She has worked at IBM, held the position of Director of Government Programs for Germany, Russia and the CIS countries. She was also the Chief Privacy Officer for IBM in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Prior to that, she was deputy head in the IBM Government Programs Office in Brussels for EMEA. She was in charge for part of Communications, Marketing, the Press, University Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility and Standards Organizations and she chaired the IBM German Women’s Leadership Council. Armgard has also served as Head of the Communication Department for the President of the German Bundestag, worked in the U.S. Congress as a Legislative Assistant on the House and Senate side, taught at universities in the US and Germany on the subjects of German and international politics, the digital economy, and cross-cultural and diversity management.
