Sally Roberts
Sally Roberts is an accomplished elite athlete, active duty soldier, sport psychology consultant and founder of the 501(c) 3 organization, Wrestle Like A Girl. Growing up from disadvantaged means, Sally found direction and passion in life through the sport of wrestling. It was through the sport of wrestling she found direction, positive reinforcement and a safe place to be after school. Because of this combination, she was the first in her family to graduate from high school, earn an undergraduate degree in psychology and an advanced degree in sport psychology- all while training for the Olympics full time. Sally was a resident at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center for 8 years earning 2 bronze medals, 4 national championship titles and was a 2008 Olympic Alternate. While serving in the military, she also founded the nonprofit organization Wrestle Like A Girl in 2016 on the premise that girls can do anything, especially wrestle- they just need to know that option exists.
