Betty-Ann Heggie is a former Senior Vice-President with PotashCorp. After retiring in 2007 she now serves as a corporate director, professional speaker and blogger for Huffington Post. In 2008, she founded the Betty-Ann Heggie Womentorship Foundation, aimed at getting more women to the decision-making table. Betty-Ann is a Trailblazer Award recipient from Women in Mining Canada and was named one of the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining. She is a member of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women Hall of Fame, has received the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, the YWCA Lifetime Achievement Award, the University of Saskatchewan Alumni Mentorship Award and the “Women Helping Women” award at the Stevie Awards in New York. Betty-Ann currently serves as a director of the Toronto International Film Festival. Her mentorship program at Edwards School of Business, has had more than 1800 women participants in the program’s events, professional development and annual women’s film festival.
