Dr. Andrew P. Smiler
Andrew Smiler, PhD, is a licensed therapist and an expert on boys, men, and masculinity. Dr. Smiler holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Developmental Psychology. He is the author of "Dating and Sex: A Guide for the 21st Century Teen Boy" (2016) and "Challenging Casanova: Beyond the Stereotype of the Promiscuous Young Male" (2013). Dr. Smiler has authored or co-authored more than 25 academic articles and chapters, and he is co-author, with Dr. Chris Kilmartin, of the best-selling Introduction to Men's Studies textbook "The Masculine Self (5th Ed)".
