Dr. Kurt Johnson, our host, is well known internationally as a scientist, comparative religionist, activist and former monastic. Active in spirituality and professional science for over 40 years, his influential book The Coming Interspiritual Age appeared in 2013. As a Christian monk he founded with Br. Wayne Teasdale what has become the Interspiritual Network www.interspirituality.com a major hub for global interreligious and intercultural discussion. Serving on several committees at the United Nations, Kurt also works with the international Contemplative Alliance and Integral communities. In science Kurts PhD is in evolution, ecology, systematics and comparative biology. Associated with the American Museum of Natural History for 30 years, he published over 200 articles on evolution and ecology, the bestselling books Nabokovs Blues 2000 and Fine Lines 2015 and chapters in The New UN Development Agenda. He is also known as a biographer of famed novelist Vladimir Nabokov.
