Natasha Young
Natasha Young was born and raised in Lawrence, MA and currently resides in Haverhill, MA with her young son Julian. A 12-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Natasha served two tours of duty in Iraq and one recruiting duty stateside before a medical discharge in October 2011. Since her discharge, Natasha has overcome significant medical and psychological barriers. She has dedicated herself to helping other veterans overcome the struggles of their transitions, lead new lives in their communities and set an example for others. Natasha was honored by the White House in March 2013 as a Champion of Change for her work with veterans and The Mission Continues by challenging them to serve again here at home. Currently Natasha is completing her Social Work degree with the plan of helping veterans assimilate back into today’s society. Her mission is to make Veterans aware, women in particular, of being a valuable and integral part of their communities.
