JESSI HALLQUIST
My name is Jessi and I am a recovering addict. My story starts off like most. I didn't one day wake up and decide to be a heroin addict. At the age of 13 I was placed in my first treatment center. When I was 18 I was introduced to heroin and in a matter of months I became unrecognizable. I was offered the gift of my eighth treatment center and I went and kicking and screaming. I finally got some time under my belt I was blessed to become a mother. I met an amazing man and his mother who had a dream that there should be no closed doors to anyone seeking help from this disease. It's been a blessing to know that my horrible past is now being used to keep others from making the same mistakes I did and show people that it's never too late, or too soon to turn their lives around.
