Those returns have also been achieved with far less volatility (risk) than the S&P 500. The fund invests in domestic stocks, foreign stocks, commodities and yield orientated funds and trusts. It invests in individual stocks as well as exchange traded funds. Foreign stock investments are usually through funds but SDR’s are also used. Some hedging strategies are also used to reduce risk.
