Amanda Hessel
Amanda Hessel of Smart Animal Training Systems was announced the 2015 Entrepreneur winner at the WIPIN annual conference in Portland, Oregon. Ms. Hessel, Vice President of Marketing and Sales and co-owner, has been instrumental in bringing the company’s flagship product, the Pet Tutor® to market. She brings to her role at Smart Animal Training Systems years of experience as a volunteer furlougher for a prison based service dog program. This expertise, combined with her deep belief in positive reinforcement training and love of meeting new people, empowers Ms. Hessel to help pet owners, trainers and retailers discover better tools for working with their pets. She has also been involved in the evaluation and testing of Pet Tutor® and other smart products with her own dogs(2 standard poodles and a great dane).
