Tristen Chernove
From 2006 to 2009, Tristen represented Canada in paddle sport at the International level, has 3 National paddle sport gold medals and between the 2007 and 2009 World Championships in Sydney Australia and Prague, Czech Republic, Tristen has earned two World gold medals, one silver and two bronze medals. In 2009 Tristen was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth disease, a degenerative disease of the peripheral nervous system. In efforts to counteract the disease's impacts, Tristen switched from competitive paddling to cycling, where he has become 2x Track World Champion and won a gold, silver and bronze medal at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio.
Tristen is Cranbrook, British Columbia’s Business Person of the Year for 2016 and has plans to continue chasing the pinnacle of athletic success in his current sporting passion, cycling.
Tristen Chernove’s is Airport Manager, Canadian Rockies International Airport since December 2009. Tristen is, also, the President and CEO of Elevate Airports Inc.
