Linda Johnsen, M.S.
Linda Johnsen, M.S., author of Lost Masters: Rediscovering the Mysticism of the Ancient Greek Philosophers, is a long-time student of religious philosophy. She holds degrees in Eastern and Western Psychology and has post-graduate training in theology and Sanskrit. She is the award-winning author of eight books on ancient and modern spirituality, including Daughters of the Goddess: The Women Saints of India, The Living Goddess, and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Hinduism. Hundreds of her articles have appeared in Yoga International, Yoga Plus, Yoga Journal, and numerous other magazines, journals and anthologies. Linda was an editor for Yoga + Joyful Living Magazine and has appeared on radio and television. She is noted for uncovering captivating true stories about the world's spiritual traditions known only to scholars and explaining them in a way that is fascinating and extraordinarily inspiring.
