Jim Lawrence
Jim Lawrence serves as President of Arizona Mule Deer a nonprofit wildlife conservation group. He has served on the Board of Directors for MDF as well as Chapter Chairman, State Chairman, Project Review Committee Chairman and Arizona Leadership Committee. Jim is the liaison for Arizona Mule Deer and Arizona Game and Fish Department’s Adopt-A-Ranch program, sits on the AZGFD Habitat Partnership Committee (HPC) and Vice Chairman for the departments Landowner – Lessee- Sportsman-Relationship Committee (SSLRC).
Most weekends you will find Jim and AMD volunteers out in Arizona’s back country, developing a new natural water spring, converting existing windmills with more efficient solar panels or removing old barbed wire fencing which is a hazard to wildlife.
Jim is most proud of the AMD volunteers who are the backbone of the organization and his ability to work with other conservation groups, the ranching community and State / Federal Agencies for the sake of wildlife conservation.
