Dr. Steve O'Brien
Dr. Steve O’Brien has been assisting children and families in his Tampa Bay practice for over 20 years. He earned his Psy.D. (doctoral degree in clinical psychology) at Nova Southeastern University with an applied developmental focus. Dr. O’Brien’s services include psychological assessment for a range of mental health issues, psychological evaluations for intellectual functioning and gifted eligibility, individual psychotherapy for children and adolescents, parent consultation, individual psychotherapy for adults, and mental health education/training for professionals and the community. Dr. O’Brien also serves as a consultant for Bay News 9, Tampa Bay’s 24-hour news source. From clinical psychologist to entrepreneur, in 2015 he launched Psych-Touch LLC., a new company with a new vision… to provide contemporary tools which integrate psychology and touch-screen technology for understanding and assisting children and the adults in their lives.
