Bruce Ames, PhD
Dr. Ames, a world-renown scientist and Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at University of California Berkeley, is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and served on their Commission on Life Sciences. He has also served on the board of directors of the National Cancer Institute and the National Cancer Advisory Board. Dr. Ames has been nominated several times for the Nobel Prize and is a recipient of the U.S. National Medal of Science. His 550+ publications have resulted in his being among the few hundred most-cited scientists in all fields.
