Carlyn Montes De Oca is an author, speaker, acupuncturist, and plant-based nutritional consultant. Carlyn has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Today she is the owner of Modern Alchemy Acupuncture & Nutritional Counseling. Before her career in holistic health, Carlyn worked in the motion picture industry film editing on movies such as Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Alive, & Three Men and a Little Lady. After twenty years of working 24/7, Carlyn decided to pursue a career in health and wellness and find a way to help animals in a greater way.
