Brenda J. Cooper
Brenda J. Cooper is a science fiction writer, a futurist, and a CIO. Her most recent novel is Wilders, which came out from Prometheus Books in June of 2017. Wilders explores climate impacts, robotics, smart cities, and rewilding. Her most recent short story is part of the the XPrize Foundation’s Seat 14C online anthology about a plane that skips twenty years into the future on its way to SFO. Brenda blogs frequently on environmental and futurist topics, and her non-fiction has appeared in Slate and Crosscut. She is the winner of the 2007 and 2016 Endeavor Awards for "a distinguished science fiction or fantasy book written by a Pacific Northwest author or authors."
