Jim Borden
Jim Borden grew up in a very small community in North Central Pennsylvania. Hunting, fishing, shooting and doing mechanical and machining work was a way of life for him. His grandfather and father owned a small family business that repaired cars and farm equipment, did gunsmithing, and sold sporting goods. His grandfather taught him to machine and shoot at a young age and the business place was a place for small gatherings of youngsters from the community to shoot almost every evening in the summer and fall.
Jim’s interests in the outdoors and firearms and competitive shooting led him into BR shooting where he set 10 World Records, won 11 national Championships and was inducted into the Hall of fame. He runs the family business Borden Accuracy/Borden Rifles. The business is focused on making precision bolt action receivers.
