Joseph Kramer
For the last twenty-five years, Dr. Joseph Kramer has been at the center of a network of sexual adventurers and researchers, exploring the potential of erotic massage and mindful masturbation. By paying attention to his own inner subjective experience during arousal, he became aware of the remarkable potential of peak erotic trance states. In 1984, Joseph founded the Body Electric School where he trained thousands of professional masseurs, erotic bodyworkers, and sacred intimates. In 1999, he founded The New School of Erotic Touch online at www.eroticmassage.com. In 2003, he began training Sexological Bodyworkers, approved by the State of California, to assist others to deepen their experience of erotic embodiment. He is Professor of Somatic Sexology at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco. He has produced over a dozen educational DVDs teaching erotic touch.
