Jim Anderson
Jim Anderson began his career as a communications officer with the highway patrol, eventually becoming an insurance adjuster, and then an independent insurance agent. He and his wife of 51 years, Pat, had three daughters, one of whom is developmentally disabled. Jim became caregiver Pat while she was battling Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease, and will discuss with Dr. Merle the special issues and challenges of being a man caring for an adult female family member.
