Kristi Benson
Kristi Benson is an honours graduate of the Academy for Dog Trainers where she earned her Certificate in Training and Counseling. She lives and works in central Manitoba, Canada, where she teaches dog classes and helps dog owners with any kind of dog problem from basic obedience to aggression. Kristi is also on staff at the Academy for Dog Trainers, helping to shape the next generation of canine professionals. Kristi’s dogs are rescue sled dogs, and for fun she runs them with a dog-powered scooter and on skis. Kristi is a school presenter for the Stop the 77 campaign, delivering a fun and informative program to keep kids and dogs safe. Kristi also enjoys reaching out to dog owners through writing. Her blog was named one of the top fifty dog blogs in 2016 by Thoroughly Reviewed. She is also a regular dog behaviour columnist for The Sled Dogger, writing the Husky Help Line, and guest blogs for the Academy for Dog Trainers, Companion Animal Psychology, and the Dog Yearbook.
