Clay Rhoden
After graduating with a business degree from the University of Texas in 2009, Clay went to work with his parents helping to manage and run their two business, EPO Computers and EPO Security Solutions. Both businesses were very tech-heavy, the computer business was essentially a Radio Shack on steroids and the security side of the business installed and serviced residential and industrial CCTV camera systems.
In 2012, Clay saw an opportunity to leverage his experience with camera systems and electronics to solve a problem he faced while at the gun range, being able to see his shots. While zeroing his first rifle, without a spotting scope or binoculars, it suddenly clicked that a wireless camera system could do the job better than any traditional optic. Over the next week, he was hard at work building a prototype and after testing it the next week, he knew he was on to something. Targetvision was founded in early 2013 and has been constantly developing more innovative hardware and software features. In 2016, Targetvision was formally awarded a patent for their long range camera systems, further securing the company’s future.
