Sara’s peaceful life in Cambodia ended that fateful day when she was rounded up by the Khmer Rouge. She endured four brutal years in a forced labor camp that became known to history as The Killing Fields. One quarter of Cambodian population, over 2 Million people, perished during the tyranny of this Regime
In 1980, she escaped to Thailand. she arrived one year later in the USA. She earned a degree in Mathematics from Western Connecticut State University.
Sara moved to Tampa Bay in 2005. Today she run a business that promotes natural healthy living. She regularly facilitates wellness educational workshops, wellness conferences and fairs.
A courageous and resilient Killing Fields Survivor tells her compelling life story of hope, love and perseverance. She speaks to groups to bring hopes, health and resilience.
