Janine Ames
Janine Ames is an accomplished leader with nearly 30 years of experience in management consulting, general management, executive recruitment and leadership advisory services. She currently leads the Business & Professional Service Practice at Spencer Stuart, helping companies to recruit C-level executives and advises on executive assessment and culture change.
She is a regular speaker for women’s groups on career management. She is the co-author of “Solving the Disappearing Women Problem” article, which highlights the continuing challenges companies face in increasing the number of women in leadership roles. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Janine led recruiting and professional development for McKinsey & Company’s Business Technology practice.
At Spencer Stuart, she was awarded the Lou Rieger Quality Award for excellence in executive search.
Janine holds a B.S. from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
