Andrew Little
Andrew Little is a US Army Vietnam Veteran living in MD. He was born in Durham, North Carolina.. All of his siblings were educated in Durham; all attended Duke University, including Mr. Little, however, his siblings graduated Duke, yet, Mr. Little did not have the opportunity to complete his degree, due to an illness from his Vietnam injuries. Mr. Little moved from Durham to get treatment at the Washington, DC Medical Center and never moved back to North Carolina. He trained and was employed with the Hyatt Corp., and he moved on to Convention Management with the Omni Corp and later retired as the Manager of the Washington, DC Convention Center. Currently, Mr. Little serves as co-chairperson of the Veterans Mental Health Advisory Council at the VA Medical Center in DC. He is a lifetime member of the American Legion, AmVets, DAV, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America, the Military Order of Purple Hearts, and the 11th Army Calvary “The Black Horse Regiment.”
