Raina Paucar
Raina Marie Paucar Is a Certified Equine Massage Therapist specializing in Sports Massage and Biomechanics for the Equine Athlete. She has over 20+ years of professional field experience with racehorses and performance horses. During her career she has worked with Thoroughbreds from the foaling stall, through the starting gates, and beyond.
Raina is dedicated to helping horses achieve peak-performance and an overall state of well-being through the services offered in her practice.
Raina has been a lifelong equestrian with a background in hunter/jumpers. As a child she rode horse shows on the New England circuit. She rode as a jockey and won her first race in 2002 at the Meadowlands. She met Edgar Paucar when he was an exercise rider at Penn. Edgar went to ride at Suffolk Downs and Rockingham Park and she followed him there after she recovered from an injury. They came to settle in Ohio in 2004. They have been together for the last 14 years and have 12 year old twin boys.
