Jada Shapiro
Over the past 15 years, Jada Shapiro has survived the trials of building a successful, community-based business which has supported over 10,000 families, and has built a large network of top OB-GYN’s, midwives, pediatricians, doulas, childbirth educators, lactation professionals, and postpartum care providers. Jada is an expert in maternal health and provides birth and breastfeeding consultation to major films (most recently working with Jennifer Lawrence in Darren Aronofsky’s last feature), TV shows, and A-list actors, and frequently moderates and appears on panels at top parenting conventions. Ms. Shapiro is a sought-out speaker in media outlets including the New York Times, The Today Show, The Huffington Post, Crain’s Business, NBC, CBS, and TLC. She is an advocate for underserved communities, and founded and ran the Bellevue Hospital Volunteer Doula Program to serve mothers who could not afford doula care.
