Mark Lang
Mark Lang is a 26 year veteran of the Dallas Police Department. He is a current member of Dallas SWAT and has been for the past 19 years. He is a lead instructor in areas of Police Sniper, 50 Caliber rifle, Aerial Platform and Public Venue Response. As a lead instructor for Tacflow Academy, Mark has bridged the gap with venue management in allowing for safe live fire training at even the most modern venues.
Mark continues to teach 50 Cal/Hard Target Courses for Tacflow Academy and has made it his priority to educate the SWAT community in the necessity and justifications for a large caliber rifle. He is an ongoing contributing writer for Officer.com, and Law Enforcement Technology News. He brought to light Public Venues response for many law enforcement agencies with his published NTOA (Spring 2015) article 'Protecting Public Venues from Terrorist Attacks'. Mark and Tacflow Academy are Allied members of the International Association of Venue Managers.
