Scott Wright
Scott Wright, President and CEO at Security Perspectives Inc., is a Cyber Security coach and consultant, based in Ottawa, Canada. He’s been working in the IT security world for over 20 years, with his initial work as a software product manager for Entrust, in the early days of online banking in the late 1990’s. Since 2003, Scott has been working with business teams to help identify and control risks from employees using the Internet. Scott has created a number of interesting security initiatives over the past 10 years to help raise awareness around cyber security risks, from USB drives, to smartphones to open Wi-Fi hotspots. His latest initiative is a startup that will be focusing on “Gamified eLearning”, which will use a new approach to engaging and educating individuals about cyber security and privacy in an eLearning environment.
