Dr. Frank A. Gerbode
Dr. Frank Gerbode received his B.A. with Honors in Philosophy from Stanford University and also studied Philosophy from Cambridge University. He received his Medical Doctorate designation from Yale Medical School and performed his Paediatric Internship at Stanford Medical Centre. He began his Psychiatric residency at Yale Medical School and completed it at Stanford Medical Centre in 1972.
He founded the Centre for Applied Metapsychology and the Institute for Research in Metapsychology, now Applied Metapsychology International (AMI).
He has published "Measurement of acid monoamine metabolites in human and animal cerebrospinal fluid" in JOURNAL OF NEUROCHEMISTRY and "Cerebrospinal fluid 5-hydroxy-indoleacetic acid and homovanillic acid in psychiatric patients" in
INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF NEUROPHARMACOLOGY.
He has written "Beyond Psychology - An Introduction to Metapsychology" and many course manuals.
