Park Dietz, MD, MPH, PhD, founded Threat Assessment Group (TAG) of Newport Beach, CA, the world’s first company devoted to workplace violence prevention (www.taginc.com). TAG develops programs to detect, prevent, and manage violence and misconduct. TAG has trained and served many of the Fortune 500, and hundreds of other organizations use TAG's services in managing misconduct and risks. TAG has advised clients on the safe management of over 10,000 cases of threats, domestic violence, stalking, and disruptive behavior.
Best known to the public as an expert witness who has evaluated John Hinckley, Jeffrey Dahmer, Jared Loughner, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Dylann Roof, and dozens of other high-profile criminals, Dr. Dietz was educated at Cornell, Johns Hopkins, and the University of Pennsylvania and has taught at Harvard Medical School, the University of Virginia School of Law, and UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, where he is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences.
