Tanya Ang
Tanya Ang is the Policy and Outreach Director with Veterans Education Success, a national non-profit Veterans Service Organization based in Washington, D.C. that works to strengthen and improve education benefits for Veterans, service-members, and their families. With more than 17 years of experience in higher education, Tanya previously worked as the Director at Servicemembers Opportunity at the American Association of State Colleges and Universities and as the Director of Veterans Programs at the American Council on Education. Prior to her work with VES, Tanya also served as a member of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Advisory Committee on Education. Tanya played a critical role in last year’s passage of the new “Forever GI Bill,” which she helped secure improved educational benefits for the veterans and military-connected students of tomorrow.
