Jd Michaels
Jd Michaels serves a dual role at BBDO New York; as EVP Director of Creative Engineering, he augments creative ideas with new technologies, bespoke craft, and unique partnerships with innovators in science, art, and theatre.
As EVP Director of Diversity, Jd works with partner Karla Mayers to define agency identity, engage in community outreach, and service all client priorities regarding inclusion and cultural relevance. His re-definition of diversity as “one’s unique combination of passions, experiences and choices” allows room for the dignity and validity of every individual, and the discovery of new harmony as employees learn more about each other. In addition, Jd is responsible for BBDO New York’s Creative Residency program, hiring diverse talent from far beyond traditional pipelines.
