Connie Palmer LCSW, is an experienced teacher, therapist and school counselor with thirty years of experience working with children. In addition, she has two young adult daughters. She is currently the Clinical Training Director of Imagine, a Center for Coping with Loss located in Mountainside, NJ for whom she offers trainings on how to support grieving children. Imagine, a Center for Coping with Loss in Mountainside provides community education and free year-round peer grief support for children age 3-18 and young adults 18-30 who are coping with loss due to the death or of a parent, guardian or sibling. Concurrent support groups are available for parents and guardians. These services will be available in Newark in the Spring of 2019.
