Jake Braun
Jake Braun is Executive Director of the University of Chicago Harris Cyber Policy Initiative (CPI) and CEO of Cambridge Global Advisors (CGA) where he provides strategic direction and consulting for high profile cyber and national security initiatives. Prior to joining CGA, Braun was the Director of White House and Public Liaison for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) where he was instrumental in the passage of the unprecedented Passenger Name Record (PNR) Agreement, one of the largest big data agreements in history. In addition, he worked on the development and implementation of the Homeland Security Advisory Council’s Task Force on CyberSkills. Braun is a fellow at the Council on CyberSecurity and is a strategic advisor to DHS and the Pentagon on cybersecurity. He is also faculty at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy where he teaches cybersecurity policy.
